Murs(born Nick Carter on March 16, 1978), is an underground mc from Mid-City Los Angeles. Even though his discography spans almost an entire decade he only had limited recognition up until three years ago when he released both the full length Def Juxrelease The End Of The Beginningand the more introspective Varsity Blues EP, which helped open up a lot of people's eyes to him as a solo artist. He then followed this up by releasing an even more popular and critically acclaimed album together with famous Justus Leaguebeatmaker 9th Wondercalled Murs 3:16 - The 9th Edition. He has stated that he wishes to work with as many artists as possible in his career to help avoid creative stagnation and this certainly shows in his musical output. Together with his crew, Living Legendshe has put out a total of four albums.
